Holmcrest

Toronto Hydro - Electric System Limited is planning to rebuild the aging underground electrical system in this community. The rebuild includes the replacement of the existing electrical cables and transformers within the City of Toronto’s public property allowance in front of or adjacent to the customers' lot.
The civil portion of the project is expected to start by early April with an approximate completion date of late August 2013; the electrical portion of the project is planned for 2014. The boundaries include Lawrence Avenue East (North), Cherryhill Avenue (East), Lake Ontario (South), and Holmcrest Trail (West).
Throughout Project Holmcrest, power interruptions may be necessary to switch from the old to the new electrical system. Toronto Hydro will provide advance notice prior to any planned outages.
Once construction begins, Toronto Hydro crews and contractors will take extra care and precautions to help minimize any inconveniences. The portion of the driveway and other areas affected by our work will be replaced to pre-construction conditions. Upon project completion, repair work will be completed as season, weather and schedule permits.

Forest Hill Phase 5
St. Paul's (Ward 21)

The civil construction for Project Forest Hill Phase 5 was completed in 2012. Toronto Hydro will now return to complete the electrical upgrade. Throughout this upgrade, Toronto Hydro crews will be pulling cable underground, converting the overhead electrical service from the rear lot to an underground electrical service.
Electrical work is expected to begin early April 2013 with an anticipated completion by December 2013, as weather, scheduling and funding permits. The affected streets of this project are Fairleigh Crescent, Parkhill Road, Whitmore Avenue, Marlee Avenue, Eglinton Avenue West (please see map below).
Power interruptions will be necessary to switch from the old to the new system. Toronto Hydro will endeavor to give advanced notice of any planned outages.

Construction Update:
Project Keegan, originally scheduled for construction in April 2012, is now scheduled to occur in April 2013. Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited is planning to rebuild the aging underground electrical system on Keegan Crescent. The rebuild includes the replacement of the existing underground electrical cables and transformers and installation of new tap boxes within the City of Toronto’s public property allowance in front of or adjacent to the lot.
This project is expected to start by April 2013 with an approximate completion date of July 2013. All work will be completed on Keegan Crescent. Bridletowne / L'Amoreaux

Construction Update:
We are pleased to advise that Project Bridletowne / L'Amoreaux is restarting following a review of our capital program. The electrical construction for Project Bridletowne / L'Amoreaux is expected to restart in mid February with an extended completion date of late May 2013.
The project involves installing underground ducts, switching vaults, transformers and poles in order to help increase service reliability. The boundaries include McNicoll Avenue (North), Birchmount Road (East), Finch Avenue (South), and Warden Avenue (West).
Throughout the project, power interruptions may be necessary to switch from the old to the new electrical system. Toronto Hydro will provide advance notice prior to any planned outages.
Toronto Hydro crews will take extra care and precaution to minimize inconveniences. Upon project completion, affected areas will be restored to pre-construction conditions.
