Project Details

Keele MTO

Overview

  • Ward: York Centre (Ward 9)
  • Activity: Overhead
  • Timeline: July - October 2012
  • Status: Completed

Due to the construction of the new hospital and forensic centre located at 1201 Wilson Avenue, Toronto Hydro Electric System Limited plans to provide electrical service to the new centre. We are planning to install new poles and upgrade the service to accommodate a reliable level of service to the new building and maintain the surrounding area.

The streets affected are as follows:

  • Sheppard Avenue West
  • Keele Street
  • Wilson Avenue
  • Pleasant Home Boulevard
  • Victory Drive

Throughout the installation of new poles, replacement of existing poles, transformers, as well as overhead cables, Toronto Hydro or its designated contractor, Powerline Plus, will restore the affected landscape within the public road allowance and easements in front of or adjacent to your property back to the preconstruction condition.

As we switch from the old to the new power supply, you will likely experience power interruptions. We will provide you with prior notice and work to minimize your interruptions.
